USUI SHIKI RYOHO
REIKI LEVEL I ATTUNEMENT

There are no special gifts, talents or forms of study required to learn Reiki.  The ability to perform Reiki is passed from a Reiki Master to the student through an attunement process.   Once an attunement is received, the student can perform Reiki.  One does not ever loose the ability to perform Reiki.  They may loose confidence in themselves to perform but that can be overcome through practice.

Preparing for an Attunement

The below tips are prepared to assist you in receiving an attunement. Implement the below, three to five days prior to receiving a attunement.

  1. Water:  Drink plenty of water.  It is recommended one quart per 50 pounds of body of weight.

  2. Diet:  Consume a plant based diet as it brings additional life force into your own body.  Eliminate or greatly reduce your intake of meat and dairy to allow the digestive system time to rest.

  3. Electromatic System:  Avoid electronics such as television, internet and cell phones as they can disrupt the bodies natural electromatic system.

  4. Nervous/Endocrine system:  Eliminate caffeine  and alcohol as this affects your nervous and endocrine system.

  5. Rest:  Do not over tire the body.  Get 7 - 9 hours of sleep nightly to reduce fatigue.  Prior to sleep, ask the energy of Reiki to being to work with you by clearing any blockages you may have that will hinder the attunement process.

  6. Recreational Drugs:  Reduce and/or eliminate recreational drugs. These distort the energy field of the body.

  7. Coming to Center: Mediate, pray or be in silence 5 - 10 minutes daily.

  8. Day of the Attunement: Eat a healthy breakfast the day of your attunement and be sure to drink at least one quart of water prior to attending.
